Founder William Leupitz originally established Silverton Pest and
Termite Control in 1974 in Silverton, Oregon. By the early 1980’s his
company—renamed Leupitz Contractors Inc. in 1981—was providing pest
management, ‘pest and dry rot’ inspections, and construction repair
services to a growing real estate and consumer residential market in the
mid-Willamette Valley. Eventually it became necessary to move the center
of operations from Silverton to Salem—Oregon’s State Capital—to
accommodate the growth.
In 1988 Leupitz Pest Control and its sister company, Leupitz Contractors
Inc. (which continues today to provide structural repair and remodeling
services) split into two separate firms. The following year, Leupitz
Pest Control opened a branch office in Clackamas, Oregon, and expanded
its service territory to include the greater Portland metropolitan area.
Greater expansion into the commercial and institutional markets also
began.
In 2002, Leupitz Inspection Services Inc. split from Leupitz Pest
Control to focus solely on the expanding full-home inspection market.
Relocation of corporate offices for the Leupitz family of companies
became necessary in March 2005 with the construction of the Keizer
Station shopping development near Salem.
Consequently, Leupitz Pest Control and its sister companies moved
to their present location comprising a two-acre facility between Salem
and Portland with direct access to Interstate 5.
This relocation has served to make it easier for Leupitz Pest
Control to care for an ever-increasing base of loyal clients throughout
the greater Portland/Salem metropolitan service area from their
state-of-the-art facility.
From the beginning, Leupitz Pest Control has built its business and its
reputation on honesty and integrity to its customers. Today, the
services of Leupitz Pest Control continue to protect the homes,
businesses, and health of thousands of Oregon customers from the
debilitating effects caused by insect and rodent pests with the same
care as when William Leupitz started the company in 1974.
